These terms set out the agreement between you ("the client") and Easy Does It Web ("we", "us", "our") when you sign up for our website services. By subscribing, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. What we provide
We design, build, host and maintain a website for your business on a monthly subscription. The exact features depend on the plan you sign up for, but typically include the design and build of your website, hosting, an SSL certificate, ongoing support, and reasonable edits on request.
2. Subscription & payment
- Our service is billed monthly in advance at the price agreed when you sign up.
- Payment is collected automatically each month via our payment provider (Stripe).
- There is no upfront setup fee unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Your subscription begins on the date of your first payment.
3. Minimum term & cancellation
- Your subscription has a minimum term of three (3) months from your first payment.
- After the minimum term, your subscription continues on a rolling monthly basis.
- You may cancel at any time after the minimum term by giving us 30 days' written notice by email.
- If you cancel, your website and associated hosting will be taken offline at the end of your final paid period unless a separate arrangement is made.
4. What happens if payment fails
If a monthly payment fails and is not resolved within a reasonable period, we may suspend or take your website offline until payment is brought up to date. We will always attempt to contact you before doing so.
5. Ownership
- While your subscription is active, your website remains hosted and managed by us.
- The content you provide (your business name, logo, images, text and details) remains yours at all times.
- The underlying website design, build and code remain our property unless a separate buyout is agreed in writing.
- If you wish to take full ownership of your website, please contact us to discuss a buyout option.
6. Your responsibilities
- You agree to provide accurate information about your business.
- You confirm that any details, claims, credentials or qualifications you ask us to display (for example trade certifications, insurance or registrations) are true and that you are entitled to display them.
- You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose.
7. Edits & support
Reasonable edits to your website (such as updating contact details, services or text) are included in your subscription. Larger pieces of work, such as significant redesigns or additional functionality, may be quoted separately.
8. Our liability
We take care to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee specific business outcomes such as a particular amount of traffic, enquiries or sales. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, your website. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will let you know by email. Continued use of our service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
